A little insight

To me it is just our way of life. Far, far away I try to keep my family and friends updated on the "little" things that keep our lives exciting.

School Days

It is that time of year again. I cant believe it is already time to send the kiddos back to school. What a fast summer, as always. I was not ready to send them back this year at all! This is a big year for all of us. Dustin starting high school, Corri ending elementary school and Cheara in first grade just starting school. Granted this is is her third year of school, but pre-k doesnt count and kindergarten was only half a day so she was still home by 11:00am. She wasnt concered with getting lost or making friends the first day, she just wanted to make sure she was going to look cute. That's Cheara!! The first day the girls were up and ready, Dustin hasnt got up with his alarm clock yet and we are only on day 4! Cheara had PE yesterday for the first time and she was so excited, they got to bowl so that was lots of fun for her. Dustin has PE again this year also, he hasnt had it since 6th grade. Their first unit is swimming, not sure he is to excited about that. He enjoys swimming and always has fun at the pool, but I remember having swimming in high school and it sucked. This will be an interesting year for him, he has a heavy load but is excited. They do an A day and B day here so he only has a class every other day. He is in 2 honors classes, and Japanese, Algebra and Biology along with PE and band, so he will be a busy boy. Him and Corri both came home with homework yesterday already. I could probably count on one hand how many times Dustin brought home work last year. I got a picture of Cheara before school started and when I went to take Corri's, Cheara had to be in that one too, and then here came Landon with his backpack. Dustin is to "cool" to have his picture taken so I will have to stand at the door after school ready with the camera.
