A little insight

To me it is just our way of life. Far, far away I try to keep my family and friends updated on the "little" things that keep our lives exciting.

Happy Birthday!!!

You have to guess what it is first!

new stereo, just what he wanted
My camera battery was dying and I kept missing him blow out the candles so he had to "pretend" that he was blowing them out.

Little brother had to have a turn blowing out the candles to!

WOW!!! Here we are with a 16 year old! Dustin was going to have a party at the bowling alley. Not much else to do, or really any other place to have one. He decided against that about two days later, I never even had a chance to call up there and get the available dates. This would have been a perfect opportunity for us to meet Chelsea. Yup, thats her name. I knew this would happen!! Corri is the only one that has seen her. She sees her after school when Dustin walks her to her bus. Corri says she is pretty so I guess he has sis's approval!! Now for Mom and Dad's. He is taking her to Homecoming in a couple of weeks but I would really like to meet her before that. So for his birthday, I picked him up from football practice and we headed home for dinner and cake and presents. Chelsea couldnt come since he didnt ask her over until that day at school. He asked for homemade pizza and dirtcake. That was easy enough. After dinner, he opened his gifts and we had dirtcake. The only time I ever make that is for his birthday, it is so yummy maybe I should make it more. He got a game for xbox, and a new stereo for his room and a pretty cool chess set. He has been asking for that chess set forever. We made him keep it downstairs tho since we dont want it broken or chipped. His birthday was on Monday and he was getting his drivers permit first thing on Tuesday morning. He does OK driving, he makes me nervous. He doesnt like to slow down when he turns a corner!!! And when he was going to change lanes, (without looking and with no blinker) there was a car there, thank goodness they slowed down. I kept saying, Dustin there is a car there, there is a car there! He has to take drivers ed still and that is a three month waiting list. His father can take him out this weekend and let him drive cause I am done with that for now. He makes me nervous. I only let him drive thru housing where there is little traffic.
