A little insight

To me it is just our way of life. Far, far away I try to keep my family and friends updated on the "little" things that keep our lives exciting.

New Hobbies

I realize most people dont consider mowing a hobby. One day after Dustin had finished mowing, I was telling him how good it looked and that he had done a good job. Well Corri was sitting there and of course she had to start running her mouth. She said well I could have done it better. So I told her Good, next week you can mow! That was not what she wanted to hear!! So now she mows and Dustin weed eats and edges. She looks like she is really enjoying herself huh?

Her dad took her a couple of weeks ago to get contacts. Poor thing has been wearing glasses since she was 5, so she has been wanting contacts for awhile. She did great, put them right in and was able to take them out with no problems. We are still trying to get the prescription just right. We may have to rethink this seeing how she has already torn one and I just found one on the floor! I really dont want to watch her put them in and take them out everyday. She really likes them and looks pretty cute so I hope she gets it together. I took her to the orthodontist last month and we will go back in January to try get braces on. The doc said she was a very good candidate, we are just waiting for her to loose more teeth.

Dustin and Corri got dive certified last week. I hope they enjoy it, I will NOT be going with. Corri was trying to talk me into it the other day and finally she said "are you scared?" Yep, as a matter of fact I kind of am. I can see enough of the ocean from the beach, thanks. They are really excited, this will give them some good bonding time with their dad I guess. This is a really good place to dive and what an opportunity for them. Of course the first thing they said was that needed an underwater camera. Yeah, I dont think so!! Dustin loves it and had no problems doing everything to get certified. The class was during the week and went from 5-9pm, football is not over until 530 so he went to dive directly from ball. Needless to say, he was a little tired that week. I told him before it started to tell the coach that he needed to leave 30 minutes early those three days. That didnt fly, coach told him go to dive and quite football or come to football and dont dive. So he was just late to dive every day.

Dustin was quick to point out that they are not holding hands when they got out of the water. Corri had a hard time getting out. All of that gear is fairly heavy and it is very slippery! Notice that they are out of the water and Corri still has her snorkel IN her mouth!! Too funny.

I also added more pictures to the "my pictures"
